Thank God for my seedy past. Rather then have to sit in line like a sheep, I was blessed with an Iphone from a man who, not looking to lose his knee caps, owed me some money and sought to pay me off, at least temporarily, with a lovely gift. Not being an AT&T subscriber I had to hack my 2G Iphone like so many other offenders and to be honest…I wasn’t impressed. The time to complain about this is over and perhaps I’ll revive my concerns in another post, but now I LOVE IT!

Months ago my brother was looking for an Ipod and it was an easy gift for me to give. Unbeknownst to me it sat away in a drawer waiting for one word to appear in my RSS reader…Omnifocus. I owe my life, and perhaps my first son, to the Omnigroup for this software. A lot of people just don’t get it, and that’s fine. I don’t expect much from the french anyway.

The major complaint I’ve had has never been of the software but my need to transfer thoughts into an inbox that only existed on my laptop. This isn’t a post about Omnifocus, but rather the Iphone so I will redirect.

A major problem I’ve had cranking my Iphone up to 2.0 was that there appeared to be a flaw in those Iphones that were Hacked at 1.0.2 that could potentially brick them upon upgrading. Not a concern thanks to the Iphone Dev Group. The complete replacement of the firmware circumvents all problems except for one that I can’t seem to fix. How do I get Installer.app Iphone apps on the Iphone through the Tool? Any help?

Just an update. I’ll give you some further thoughts later.
