How to Brief: An OmniOutliner Template

This is perhaps one of the most annoying skills you’ll have to develop once in law school. You will likely start with several page long briefs and find your way by 2nd semester briefing in your books. Learning what is valuable is a skill.
Early on I created a template for Omnioutliner, the only reason I survived my first year, so I knew what to look for and just fill in the blanks. Don’t stress not all the blanks get filled in every time.
Save the following oo3 file in your Omnioutliner Templates folder as so…
–> Users –> “Your Name” –> Library –> Application Support –> OmniOutliner 3 –> Templates –> Brief Template
