I want to share a memory with you. Since the first semester of my first year, this is what my life has looked like. (For the sake of context I just ran up 5 flights of stairs. I’m not built for that sort of athletics. I am out of breath) Let’s look back shall we?
Today, I’m in beautiful San Juan, Puerrrrto Rico and it’s lovely. I’ve become this strangely sadistic fellow over the years, and I suppose because of this quality I find myself checking Cuse’s whether all the time. Just to know how miserable people could potentially be. I don’t smile so much when its 80 degrees, snowing and I have work to do, but there’s a huge grin on my face when it’s below zero. So I wanted to share with you my favorite app for bringing sunshine into my life.
WeatherDock first and foremost is free. With a closer look the icons seem a little cheap, but its the functionality.

Although this thing can bug you dozens of different ways to make you aware of the awful weather ahead, elsewhere, here’s the idea. Turn them all off, and let it sit in the menubar. It’s silent and extensive. You can have two days worth of weather neatly tucked in your menubar.

Furthermore, WeatherDock recognizes this fundamental problem with human beings – That we’re always on the move, and we never want to adjust are computers in accordance with our schedules. We want smart weather updates. WeatherDock let’s you designate daily, depending on the time of the day, whether you’re at work in X or Y, or at home.
WeatherDock has proven itself to be the least annoying Weatherbugesque application on the market for me, while also providing a great deal of functionality.
With just a click on the menubar, you can dive into the future and bask in the misfortune of others in more inclement weather for days to come. Kudos to you guys at Alwin Troost. I might just pay for this one.
